Hunting white-tailed deer is a longtime tradition at Palmquist Farm, and we are excited for you to join in that tradition. Bring your friends and family for a special hunting experience you won't forget. Your hunt includes basic guide services, transportation into the hunting area, and removal of the animal from the woods.

 

 

Palmquist Farm offers two types of deer hunts:

In-season hunting

We are excited for rifle, bow, and crossbow hunters to explore our property for a trophy white-tail deer. Walk through thousands of acres of private and public land, perch in a beautiful spot in your own tree stand, and see for yourself why the North Woods offers the best deer hunting in the Midwest. After a fun day of chasing deer, come back to The Farm for a home-cooked meal.

In-season deer hunters must have a valid hunting license. Hunting seasons are set by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources—visit the DNR website for more information. For safety reasons, we can only accept a limited number of hunters, so make your reservation today. See our rates page for current rates.

Northern Buck Preserve

For the ultimate hunting experience, hunt in our 1300-acre fenced and licensed deer hunting preserve. Former guests have described it as a tremendous tract of hunting land and one of the best private hunting areas in the state. The preserve features a number of permanent tower stands, and you are welcome to bring your own tree stand as well.

Hunting inside the deer preserve offers several advantages over normal deer hunting. Individual hunting licenses are not required, and hunters are not bound by DNR hunting seasons, though The Farm still requires deer hunts to take place during the fall months. The deer preserve is specially managed as a prime habitat for white-tailed deer, so the deer tend to have larger bodies and antlers than deer outside the fence. If you are looking for your next trophy buck, Northern Buck Preserve is the place for you!

We only accept a limited number of hunters for this unique experience, and special rates apply. Special hunts, such as father and son hunts, pistol hunts, and bow hunts can be arranged by request. Please contact us for more information on special hunts.
