It’d be a real pleasure to have you come out and enjoy a stay at Palmquist Farm!

My name is Jim Palmquist, and my 800-acre farm is located in North Central Wisconsin. My wife Helen and I do raise beef cattle and timber on our farm, but our real passion is great Finnish hospitality that goes back nearly 110 years.

History

Our farm has been in my family since 1902. Back then, it was just a 40 acre subsistence farm that my great grandfather started. Since then, many generations of my family have lived and worked this farm and made it what it is today. We are proud to be a family business that has been taking in guests since 1949.

Our Property

After breakfast, take a walk on our mowed trails through the woods, sit on the dock at the fishing pond, or simply sit on one of our many porch swings and read a book. At night, curl up by the fire with loved ones—nearly every cabin at Palmquist Farm is equipped with a wood-burning fireplace. Or play ping-pong in the Pickaroon lodge.

Lodging

Enjoy a relaxing evening in our cozy cottages. We have smaller cabins for 2 to 6 people. Our large, handcrafted log cabin (called "The White Pine Inn") is perfect for big groups. We have a total of 5 cabins and a few rooms in the Farmhouse that can fit about 40 to 50 people.

A Message from the Owners

As I like to say, there are no strangers at The Farm. Only friends you haven't met yet.

We look forward to your visit. Don’t forget to take a look at our Facebook page to see what's happening at The Farm.

Take Care!
