The quiet Northwoods atmosphere at Palmquist Farm is the perfect place to host any gathering because it provides a beautiful, relaxed setting. My name is Jim Palmquist, and my 800-acre farm is located in North Central Wisconsin. My wife Helen and I do raise beef cattle and timber on our farm, but our real passion is great Finnish hospitality that goes back nearly 110 years. My family has always thought of The Farm as a gathering place. We host group getaways, school groups, reunions, anniversary parties, business meetings, conferences, non-profit group meetings, retreats, and weddings.

The Space

Our comfortable, country-style meeting rooms in our Pickaroon lodge as well as in the Farmhouse and White Pine Inn create a matchless setting for your event. Wireless Internet is also available in these buildings.

Meals

Request the meal you want, and we can prepare it. We can provide meals for up to 100 people. We also allow you to bring in your own caterers.

Lodging

We can provide lodging for 40-50 people. Our comfortable cabins provide an excellent environment to accomplish your goals and have a relaxing and enjoyable time with family, friends, or business associates.

Activities

The Farm offers incredible recreational activities to the guests of your event. Between meeting times or during your reunion, retreat, or party, go hiking, biking, and cross country skiing, or try our scavenger hunt, play basketball, go on a sleigh ride or wagon ride, or just relish some quiet time away in the country in front of our many fireplaces.
