Fresh Snow at Palmquist Farm

Like many places in the Midwest this week, Palmquist Farm received about 8 inches of new snow. This is more than enough to ski on, so make your reservation now for a cross-country skiing vacation!

We're also busy decorating for the Christmas season. Today we're making fresh new wreaths to hang all over the Farm, and soon we'll have Christmas trees ready for our guests to enjoy.

We hope you've had an enjoyable winter so far, and we wish you safe travels during the coming holiday season.

Trail Report January 23

Greetings from Palmquist Farm!

The trails are in very good to excellent condition. All are tracked and groomed with an 8-10 inch base and 5 inches of new snow. Martin Luther King weekend was absolutely beautiful with temperatures in the high teens and new snow softly falling everyday. Here are some pictures a fellow took this past weekend. One is his wife on the ski trail. The next picture is of sika deer and buffalo from on the sleigh ride. The last one was our entertainment for the weekend. Some of our long time guests brought their instruments and joined in with the players we normally have sing.

Have a good day and hope to see you at The Farm soon!

The Farm Mentioned in Forbes

This morning I woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground and an unexpected article mentioning The Farm in Forbes magazine.

It’s a good day.
